Inspiration Derived from Latin inspiratio is the process of creative stimulation. Always timely and often brilliant, it can occur suddenly (the typical light bulb moment) or take a slow burning path and the outcome drives you to do or see or feel or make or write something new.
I guess it is a matter of personal opinion whether a particular inspiration is indeed ‘brilliant.’ Or not. But it is something that we all experience, probably every day – whether we stop to notice it and how we use it, is what matters.
What inspires me? Lots of places and a variety of things –
And this person
who took most of the better photographs here. And who isn’t me.
This is not me but is another of the people who inspire me. There are four of them and they know who they are.
Why do I write?
The ideas that skip out of my head need to go somewhere.
